4) What is the proudest moment of your life or most memorable day?

One of my proudest moments was the day I graduated from Radford University with my B.B.A. in Marketing. This was more than just an accomplishment for me, but also for my family, because I am the first person from both sides of my family to graduate from college.

5) What are your beauty secrets?

If you are someone like me and have long and thick hair and find yourself without a hair tie, you can still put it up by tying it in a knot. Simply gather your hair into a ponytail, twist it, wrap it in a bun and pull the end through the center… Ta Da

6) Any messages for your fans?

I want to say a huge THANK YOU to all of my fans! Since I was crowned in November my social media activity has sky rocketed through the roof! I am so overwhelmed and appreciative with the amount of inspiration, motivation and support from everyone. Keep it coming on Instagram and Twitter @realmissvausa J

Interview Miss Virginia USA 2014 -  Arielle Rosmarino

1) Tell us something really interesting about you.

I am probably the only pageant girl who has a state wrestling ring. I started wrestling in middle school and continued through high school and college. Ironically I started wrestling the same year I started pageants.

2) Why did you decide to compete in the Miss Virginia USA pageant?

I have competed in many different pageant systems for 8 years before my first Miss Virginia USA state pageant. After that competition I knew the Miss Universe Organization was the perfect fit for me. I was a junior in college at the time and decided it would be best for me to complete school and then compete again after I graduated from school so I could really focus on the job of Miss Virginia USA. So here I am a college graduate and Miss Virginia USA 2014 ready to take on my next challenge.

3) What was going through your head when you were announced as the new Miss Virginia USA?

I honestly don’t remember anything from after I heard them announce my first runner ups name. Apparently I thanked the judges, my director and my trainer while I pointed to my state ring saying I left no doubt. I say apparently because I didn’t know I did that until I saw the DVD.

Thanks you Arielle !
